Customers of the collapsed music and DVD retailer will be relieved to find that HMV's administrators have done a U-turn on their decision not to accept gift cards.
The administrators who were called in last week have said that after looking at the figures it seems that they are in the position to accept gift cards in all of HMV's 223 stores!
It has also been confirmed that proceeds which HMV raised through the sale of charity releases, including the Hillsborough Justice Collective single, He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother, will be paid in full as soon as possible.
Youandyourrights have been campaigning for the administrators to do this via the media and we are delighted that they have decided to look after consumers.
