Nationwide customers double-charged

Nationwide is the latest bank to have problems wtith its IT! During the course of this week some of their customers (we are unsure how many at this stage) have been charged 'twice' when using their Nationwide debit card.

Whilst Nationwide are saying that the problem has now been solved we would advise all Nationwide debit card customers to check their statements very carefully and if they have been charged twice to notify their local branch. Nationwide have promised that no-one will be out of pocket so customers should be refunded.
